Australian Professional Firefighters Foundation

The Australian Professional Firefighters Foundation (APFF) is committed to prevention support and recovery programs for Firefighters, our members, their families, fire and road trauma victims.

We also proudly support the Womens and childrens hospital by donating hospital equipment, beds, games, furniture, books, electronic equipment, game consoles and more to the Newland Burns Ward at the Women's and Children's Hospital.

We partner with many other likeminded charities and community groups in South Australia

Who We Are

The Australian Professional Firefighters Foundation is a not for profit Foundation whose members are professional Firefighters. Based in South Australia our membership currently consist of over 850 people.

What We Do

The aim of the Firefighters Foundation is to assist burns and road trauma survivors, as well as supporting our own Firefighter members and their families. We raise money for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

We do this by raising funds with various events throughout the year. Our Firefighter members donate their own time to assist the Foundation as well as donate money from their pay.

How You Can Help

With your generous support, you will be helping the Firefighters Foundation raise funds for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, in particular, the Newland Ward, along with assisting in the provision of fire prevention information to the community, and improving the internal network and welfare of the Firefighters themselves.
