‘Shake the Boot’ is an annual, statewide fundraising event held by the Australian Professional Firefighters Foundation (APFF).
During ‘Shake the Boot’, Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) and Aviation Rescue Firefighters are joined by generous volunteers, including hospital nurses and Adelaide CWA in shaking a firefighting boots to collect donations at Adelaide and suburban hotels and clubs.
Monies raised goes towards agreed projects for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and regional projects for the community.
